Porfirio Rubirosa e i Sessantamidatanta Fresco e Spumeggiante La Stanzetta
These guys come on like some combination of Austin Powers and Chubby Checker. Maybe they're funny in the original language, but at this distance it just doesn't come across. Okay, they are cute and retro and they love playboys and beach culture. But every song sounds the same and I don't care if that's the point. The music is thin, all bass and keyboards, the kind of rickety band that a cheap beach restaurant hires to keep the girls dancing. Maybe if I was drunk and there wre some girls in bikinis around I would love them. But it's morning, I'm sober, and the only one around is my cat, who owns no swimwear. Make them stop.
